Jonathon Williams, Architect & Director

Prior to working independently Jonathon worked for several large architectural practices based in London and the home counties. He has a broad range of design experience and an aptitude for technical detailing due to his educational background in construction studies. Notable projects include:

▪Office development with data centre
▪B2 / B8 storage and distribution warehousing schemes
▪Various key stage 2 primary school schemes (Fulham Road, Whitechapel, Hackney & Saffron Walden)

▪Renovation of high end residential mansions in Hampstead
▪Shop frontages to St Martins Lane, Covent Garden WC2 (Part of mixed-use redevelopment), UNESCO World Heritage Site

Working predominantly within the villages of North Buckinghamshire projects regularly feature historic sites and period buildings of historical or architectural interest. Work includes all aspects of development from maintenance and repair to managing change. This has led to a good working knowledge of conservation practice using traditional building techniques and bio based sustainable construction materials to minimise harm and optimise energy efficiency.

All types of project work considered: residential, commercial, heritage, healthcare and educational.

Looking for a more contemporary style of design? Project work has also featured zinc standing seam metal roofing, larch timber cladding, silicon coloured exterior render and aluminium framed glazing.
